Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is a Mexican musician who was born into a family of musicians. Her early years were shaped by Boleros, classical music and the traditional romantic, ranchero, and romantic ballads. Ana loves Tangos. Additionally, she enjoys operas and any form drama. Ana began learning and singing songs with her mother and commenced more serious vocal training when she was 16 working with the famous Mexican tenor Flavio Becerra. In the School of Music of Guadalajara University as well as the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico furthered her education in music. While a young student and professional, she performed with various chamber groups as well as opera choruses throughout Guadalajara as well as Mexico City. After 2000, she emigrated into America. United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Then, in 2007 she moved to her new home in Southern California. The singer currently sings traditional Latin American songs at private concerts as a singer. She has been involved with a number of local projects and is a teacher and performer, because of her passion of music and art. Ana was also a member of both the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is now a teacher in the Performance Loft. Ana enjoys singing the traditional Latin American songs and hopes that she can inspire others to sing the same.
